Takalani Sesame Is Back with New Episodes on TV and Streaming Platforms!
Takalani Sesame is back with brand-new episodes of great adventures, fun games, and familiar furry friends! The new episodes focus on gender equity and challenging gender stereotypes. Now with a multiplatform distribution strategy, parents and caregivers can now watch Takalani Sesame on SABC 2, eTV, eToonz and also stream full episodes on Showmax from July 2025 and curated videos on YouTube.
In each episode, viewers are welcomed into the Takalani community. Every story features a different Takalani Sesame Muppet playing games or working together with their friends. As they play or work together, a problem moment happens when a character either makes an assumption based on gender or experiences a conflict between what they want to feel and a gender stereotype.
